Volunteers play an important role in fulfilling Welcome Home’s mission and are very much needed. If you have a desire to give back, we would love to hear from you.
There are many ways you can make a difference!
Volunteer Opportunities include:
- Driving
Drive students to appointments and events, pick up items - Procurement
Obtain merchandise, tickets for events, grants, organize fundraising events - Social Organizing
Recreational activities, outings, games, parties, etc. - Librarian
Help organize and manage our library
- Office Help
Correspondence, e-mail, records, telephone, computer research - Professional Services
Dentistry, legal, medical, motivational - Dietician
Prepare menus, meals, teach proper nutrition - Teaching
Trades, cooking, hygiene, mentoring, tutoring, computer skills, and others
- Business People (retired?)
You could develop and/or manage a Welcome Home enterprise where program participants learn and work and at the same time contribute to the financial well-being of Welcome Home
